The black on black bear with a fish in its jaws is possibly one of the most striking of the creations of Nicolas Ortiz. The animal in pursuit of its meal is almost life like. Like all his other creations, this pot is superbly polished and decorated by Nicolas. Note the detailed designs made by the contrast between the polished and matte finishes. This is also a large piece measuring 7 1/2 inches tall by 1 inched wide!
